My name is Jennifer Crossman, I am 20 years old from Lake Worth, Florida. I began racing Junior Dragsters when I was 8 years old. I raced from January 1997 until December 2005 with the NHRA Junior Dragster Program.
During the 1999 season, I won several points nights at Moroso Motorsports Park in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. In 2000, I was the Division II 10th place overall winner at Moroso and was given the opportunity to race in the 2000 Eastern Conference National Finals in Reading, Pennsylvania. In 2001, I was the Citrus Nationals Junior Dragster Runner Up, Moroso; 2001 Winner Immokalee vs. Moroso Race; 2002 Division II Junior Dragster 9th Place Overall, Moroso; 2003 Division II Junior Dragster 7th Place Overall, Moroso; 2004 Ford Power Festival Junior Dragster Semifinalist, Moroso; 2004 Division II Junior Dragster 3rd Place Overall, Moroso; 2005 12th Annual ARC Racing Jr. Dragster Gritz Blitz 10.90 Class Winner, Albany, Georgia; and in 2005 the Division II Junior Dragster 2nd Place Overall, Moroso.
In 2006, I would be turning 18 and it would be the last year that I could participate in the Junior Dragster program. I was given the opportunity to drive in the Florida Mini Cup Racing Association (FMCRA) refocusing my racing from driving fast and going straight to turning left and going fast. I finished the 2006 race year as the Florida All Pro Division 2nd Place Winner.
I enjoyed circle track racing so much that in 2007 we test drove a Modified TQ Race Car at the Winter Nationals at Orlando Speedworld taking 1st place in this class. We spent time looking and decided to enter the FASCAR ProTruck division. We bought a truck in April of 2007 and prepared for me to begin test driving the truck in June of 2007. For the remainder of the 2007 race season, I participated in the FASCAR Advanced Auto Parts Points Series, gaining valuable seat time and knowledge. I participated in 5 out of 6 races and my best finish was 12th place. There were at least 20 trucks that participate in each race.
In February 2008, I relocated to Huntersville, North Carolina, and began practicing in a street stock at Hickory Motor Speedway. I competed in the street stock division until May of 2008. Beginning in June of 2008, I changed divisions to the Advanced Auto Parts Super Trucks. I finished the 2008 season 9th in points for the street stock division and 10th in points for the Super Trucks.
The 2009 season brings a new adventure. I will be under the guidance of Lee Faulk of Lee Faulk Racing and Development and will compete at Hickory Motor Speedway in the Advanced Auto Parts Super Truck division.
My other interests and hobbies are dancing, four wheeling, fishing, canoeing, camping, whitewater rafting, listening to music, hanging out with friends and snow skiing.
